Awards
Ichiro Oya is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, and his areas of expertise are in securities, finance and banking law with an emphasis on structured finance transactions including securitization, structured revenue bonds, and structured covered bonds. He also advises on BIS finance, credit derivatives and other innovative and complex financial transactions.
Mr. Oya graduated with an LL.B. from Waseda University in 1985 and earned an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in 1996. He is admitted to practice in Japan and New York State. He is a member of the Securitization Forum of Japan’s “Working Group on Amendment to the Civil Code of Japan.”
