Masanori Kawai joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu in 2005 and became a partner in 2017. He practices corporate law and advises on a wide range of areas including general corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions. He is also widely involved in China-related transactions. In addition to acquisitions of local Chinese companies, disputes with joint venture partners, data protection, debt collection, bankruptcy, crisis management cases, regulatory research, he also handles a wide range of Japan-related matters for Chinese companies.
