Soichiro Uno joined Nagashima & Ohno (currently Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu) in 1988 and has been a partner of this firm since 1997. He graduated with an LL.B. from Hitotsubashi University in 1986 and with an LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 1993, and passed the New York bar examination in 1993. He was admitted to practice law in Japan in 1988. From 1993 to 1994 he worked at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Los Angeles as a visiting attorney.Mr. Uno’s practice focuses on corporate legal matters, especially M&A transactions, corporate governance/compliance issues and overseas transaction support services, representing international and domestic clients.
