Tomohiko Iwasaki is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. His practice focuses on corporate transactions, including international and domestic M&A transactions. He also has a thorough knowledge of the Corporations Act, as he worked at the Ministry of Justice of Japan and was a member of the team that drafted the Corporations Act Bill.
He graduated with an LL.B. from the University of Tokyo in 1995 and with an LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2002. He worked at Schulte Roth & Zabel in New York as a visiting attorney from 2002 to 2003, and worked at the Ministry of Justice of Japan from 2003 to 2005. He was admitted to practice law in Japan in 1997.
