Nagashima supported the Japanese translation of the “UN LGBTIQ+ Standards Gap Analysis Tool”

The UN LGBTIQ+ Standards Gap Analysis Tool (the “Tool”) is designed to assist companies implement the UN Standards of Conduct for Business Tackling Discrimination against Lesbian Gay, Bi, Trans & Intersex (LGBTI) People, which was issued by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in 2017. The Tool was developed to help companies eliminate inequalities faced by LGBTIQ+ people in the workplace and other settings. By using the Tool, companies can identify strengths, opportunities, and areas for improvement in their existing LGBTIQ+ equality policies, programs, and initiatives.

The UN Global Compact is translating the Tool into multiple languages to promote broader adoption, and Nagashima supported the UN Global Compact Network Japan (GCNJ) in preparing the Japanese version.
