Saiko Nakajima joins Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu

Saiko Nakajima joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu as a Partner on April 1, 2026.

Ms. Nakajima was a lawyer at the firm from 1999 to 2008. She then spent over 17 years at the Secretariat of the Japan Fair Trade Commission from 2008 to 2026, successively holding senior positions including Senior Investigator for Mergers and Acquisitions, Head, Investigation Division for Digital Platform Operators, and Director, Litigation Division.

During her tenure at the Japan Fair Trade Commission, she was primarily engaged in merger review, the investigation of suspected violations of the Antimonopoly Act, and actions for the revocation of cease-and-desist orders and surcharge payment orders. In addition to her work on merger review across a wide range of sectors, she has extensive experience in the investigation of suspected Antimonopoly Act violations, including cases involving advanced digital fields.
