Since 1990’s, Ms. Mami Ikebukuro has been a leading lawyer in the legal practices of real estate finance, and real estate funds and other real estate-related projects, including J-REITs, private funds investing in real estate and assets backed by real estate, CMBS and other securitization since 1990’s, and M&As targeting real estate-related businesses. Her practice areas further includes private equity funds and investments in non-real estate assets, trusts and financial regulations.
Mami Ikebukuro received her LL.B. degree in 1986 from the University of Tokyo. She worked at Ushijima & Associates (currently Ushijima & Partners) from 1988 to 2002 and joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu in August, 2002. She had several courses on laws on business finance and asset finance at Keio University Law School since 2013 to 2018.
