Masanori Tosu is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He advises domestic and international clients on a wide range of matters including: mergers and acquisitions, licensing and various other transactional matters as well as regulatory, compliance and government affairs issues. He works across sectors but has a particular focus on the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries. He was seconded to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare from 2019 to 2021 and was involved in various policy responses and actions taken by the Japanese government during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been a member of Review Committee on the Industrial Structure for the Realization of a Stable Supply of Generic Drugs at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare since 2023.
