Motohiro Yanagawa is a partner of Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. His practice focuses on financing transactions and corporate law, especially asset-based finance, project finance, structured finance, banking and international and domestic funds.
Mr. Yanagawa is highly regarded by many prestigious publications. He is continuously ranked in the area of Structured Finance by Chambers Asia-Pacific, Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Best Lawyers. He was selected as the “Structured Finance Law Lawyer of the Year” in the 2022 Edition of The Best Lawyers in Japan.
He graduated with an LL.B. from Waseda University in 1996 and with an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in 2002. He was admitted to practice law in Japan in 1998 and worked at Sidley Austin LLP in New York from 2002 to 2003.
