Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu is in alliance with an independent Indonesian law firm IM & Partners in Jakarta under the name of “IM & Partners in association with Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu”.

Ichsan Montang, who is serving as the representative of IM & Partners, is an Indonesia qualified lawyer with vast experience in advising Japanese companies on Indonesia related matters. He has been working on Indonesian matters in our Singapore office since 2017. Furthermore, Yoichi Maekawa, who has three years (2013-2016) of practical experience at a local law firm in Jakarta, has been permanently assigned to IM & Partners since January 2024, where he provides legal services in Japanese. Both lawyers provide more tailored legal services to companies in Jakarta by making use of their experience as well as by leveraging the experience and knowledge of the entire office that we have amassed over the years, through the close cooperation of the Singapore office, the Tokyo and other offices.
